The ThreadPoint Institute: Infrastructure Literacy Survey 2026

Industry Survey

Exploring how professionals perceive public understanding of AI, cloud computing and digital infrastructure.

About this research

The ThreadPoint Institute is conducting research into infrastructure literacy and how people understand the physical systems that power our digital world.

This research forms part of Willow Williams’ Churchill Fellowship, exploring public understanding of AI, cloud computing, digital infrastructure and the systems that support them. The ThreadPoint Institute has been established as the home for this ongoing programme of research and public education.

The findings will help identify knowledge gaps, inform future educational resources, and support conversations with schools, communities, industry and policymakers.

Responses are welcomed from professionals around the world. While this research is being led from the UK, international perspectives will help us understand how these views vary across countries and markets.

The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete.

Your responses are anonymous unless you choose to leave your contact details at the end. Responses are stored securely and used only for this research.

Thank you for contributing.
